Nick Freitas Discusses How He Thinks Civil War Might Start and How Sides Would be Determin

I like Nick Freitas. He's not a sensationalist nor chasing clicks. I've always found him to have sound and reasonable opinions. He presents a good case for how he thinks a civil war might begin and how sides would be drawn.

In this video, Nick Freitas explores the potential conditions and catalysts for a future civil war in the United States. He argues that rather than starting with a singular violent event, a civil conflict would stem from a loss of faith in the legitimacy of the country's governing systems and rules.
Key takeaways from the discussion:
The Carville Strategy: Freitas highlights recent comments by James Carville, who suggested that if Democrats win power, they should make Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico states and expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices (0:38-1:27). Freitas contends this approach signals an intent to bypass constitutional checks and balance, which he believes would create the conditions for a constitutional crisis (3:08-3:39).
The Role of the States: The video emphasizes that the U.S. federal government was created by the states and is meant to be limited by the Constitution (5:27-6:05). Freitas discusses the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions (13:48-14:12) as historical precedents for state-level resistance and argues that states act as essential structures for legitimacy and protection against central overreach (29:51-30:33).
The Catalyst for Conflict: Freitas posits that a breaking point could occur if a packed Supreme Court were to issue rulings that undermine long-standing interpretations of rights, such as the Second Amendment (29:17-29:34, 37:11-37:18).
He suggests this would lead states to refuse to enforce federal mandates, eventually forcing the federal government to decide whether to escalate toward open conflict (45:46-46:03).
Social and Cultural Fractures: He notes that the country is already self-sorting along political and cultural lines, with citizens moving to states that reflect their values (41:14-41:35). He warns that if the governing party ignores the consent of the governed and uses its power to target political opponents, it erodes the confidence necessary to keep the nation united (46:42-46:58).

If that is from about two years ago it was EXCEPTIONAL and I have often thought about posting it on here. I went on his site the other day and couldn’t find it, as a matter of fact. Good post

YouTube may have taken the old one down because of the nature of the title, and he may have produced a new one reiterating his thoughts. His video right after Charlie Kirk died was incredibly poignant and worth the watch, too.

This wet dream again? There won't be a traditional war. However, there may be a divorce.

Freitas is a smart guy. I campaigned for him with Young Americans for Liberty several years back.

Obviously, you didn't watch the video.
Your ignorance is noted.

One thing I'm certain of, 10 or so Blue Democratic Socialist states are not going to defeat and rule over 40 or so Red states with a buncha pissed off baws.

Freitas talks about this particular topic.
The majority of Marxist Dems are scared of and zero practical experience with firearms. Those purple haired, nose ring, limp wristed pussies would stand no chance against baws who've been raised on guns, hunting, and making do.
Freitas also talks about how military might respond to orders from a Dem controlled government to confiscate firearms...... it won't go as they think.

So essentially it will be the Democrats’ fault.

Proving the point as he was actually elected thrice.

Not two years ago. The comments from Carville were in the last week I think.

The end game of leftist ideology is to seize power by promising some vague or abstract worldly utopia based on class or racial grievances. To achieve this, they will kill everyone who opposes them. That's the end goal.

He references the Virginia referendum so this video is pretty recent.

The enemy/ opposition is every where now; it would be chaotic beyond belief. You could trust no one. The lines have been completely erased.
