Couldn't be any softer than the last few years.

I thought that Brad Davis was a key to a great offensive line....Boy was I wrong. Don't think it was recruiting as much as terrible coaching...A good head coach might have caught this by game three of the season if he was in his office.

BD was halfway decent at developing pass protectors. He had no clue how to teach the run game and that is how you end up looking like a soft team. The footwork was downright bad.

One of the few things I am confident in about this year's team is that the O-Line will be much improved. We WILL run the ball, probably better than we have since 2019. (Jayden doesn't count, I mean with our RBs.)

This new kid, Dilin Jones, is apparently gonna be a killer for us. He's listed at 5-11, 210, but everyone is saying it's more like 6-0, 225.

AYS guy was at practice and said Wolford preached “pad level & push” for over 20 minutes in individual drills.

I might shed a tear week 1 vs Clemson if we pick up a 3rd and short running between the tackles.

I attended practice Saturday and OL is much improved as a group although Weston is still the weak link but not sure who would sub in from depth chart. He got beat on stunts and straight rushes during backend of practice but overall much improved group

I might be asking too much, but can you imagine a first and goal from the two that we punch in within three run plays?

Crazy concept.

What made you think that? He's never had a great OL anywhere he's coached.

IT WAS BOTH! He recruited OL's that were not SEC/lLSU caliber linemen.

I'm scratching my head as to why Weston Davis is still the starting RT. (Wolford and Cregg must be OL miracle workers!)

I mean.. Weston has to have some talent considering he entered the portal and was made a priority by this staff to keep. Him, Solomon T & Borderlon & Braelin Moore are the only returnees along the line IIRC.

I think Weston has a good year, he looked much improved towards the back end of the season.

I’ll be impressed if I see holes opened in the running game and sec championship caliber protection especially in the 4th quarter. Owning the line at the end of games reflects toughness

That's a Personal Foul in a game.

So, we get down to the 5 yard line in the 4th Quarter against Ole Miss with the game tied. Ole Weston loses his cool and gets a personal foul. Move it back to the 20. 2 incomplete passes and we try a game winning FG that gets blocked.OM gets the ball and goes 80 yards in the final minute to score and win the game.

Ya like that? (All because WD lost his cool and got a personal foul)

He got some seriously impressive talent to campus. The guy evidently couldn't coach a lick, but this is some delusional revisionist history unless your presumption is every other SEC team is recruiting not SEC caliber players and every recruiting service is misidentifying top 250 talent.

Wanna know how I know you didn't play football, especially o line? Players get in fights at practice, especially during spring ball. Hell I got in a fight after a work out in the weight room. I never did that on the field. People are capable of understanding consequences.
