I REALLY hope so. The OL is the key to the whole season. If we can run the ball (similar to OM recently or those Bama teams) we're going to give everyone problems.
Kiffin will find guys who can make plays outside (and scheme them wide open in the passing game). We know we have talented ball carriers already. The offense will hum.
The defense will be resting on the sidelines more often, playing with a lead likely, and can pin their ears back and be aggressive. I could see us generating TOs/short fields for the offense and really going for the kill earlier in the game.
I know it's reductive (and not a bold take at all), but I really think the OL is the key to the whole season.

O Line is the hardest position to recruit. No one really knows how the player will do against players who are as good, or better than they are. The recruit has a ton of tape versus inferior opponents.

I attended practice Saturday and OL is much improved as a group although Weston is still the weak link but not sure who would sub in from depth chart. He got beat on stunts and straight rushes during backend of practice but overall much improved group

Good to hear from someone to was at a practice. Thanks for sharing.

That's a Personal Foul in a game. So, we get down to the 5 yard line in the 4th Quarter against Ole Miss with the game tied. Ole Weston loses his cool and gets a personal foul. Move it back to the 20. 2 incomplete passes and we try a game winning FG that gets blocked.OM gets the ball and goes 80 yards in the final minute to score and win the game. Ya like that? (All because WD lost his cool and got a personal foul)
What an absolute bitch statement talking about spring aggression.

Agreed. And it's really hard to develop players and get the group really playing as a unit (and that's not accounting for injury risk). It's a huge challenge!
But if they can put together a good unit, we're going to be really good. I really think it unlocks everything for Kiffin.

Brad Davis just wasn't it. Kelly's biggest mistake may have been not moving on from him.
