My son will be graduating LA State Trooper Training Academy in June, the weekend before they graduate, they will have a family day. It will be me, my wife (no pics), my son and his wife (no pics) and our 7mo grandson. Where is a good area, if there are any, to rent an Airbnb for the weekend.

Don’t have an answer to your question but congratulations to your son and the family.

Around the lakes by campus. But not between Daryample and Highland. Mid City south of North Blvd. Old Goodwood and Broadmoor will all be fine.
Garden District and Mid City are the closest areas by campus with good food/coffee shops ect.
If the graduation is at LSP HQ then Broadmoor is right there. If it is at JESTC then you will be driving no matter where you stay.

New Roads is a nice area and not too far away.

There isn't much for Airbnb in that area of Baton Rouge. If you can find one south of Government Street, you'll be safe.
Whatever you do, avoid anything north of Florida Blvd.
Even some areas north of Government can be shady at times.
I'd recommend sticking to a hotel. Corporate Drive or Constitution Ave. off the College Drive area are the best.

There's one two doors down from me in Capital Heights. 3 bed two bath and walking distance to Superior, Josephine, and Spoke and Hub.

Get two rooms at a Marriott.

My in-laws have one off Lee and Orchid St with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Believe it's listed as "3 Bed + 2 Bath Cottage".

There's one on Concordia that looks pretty nice. It's in the Capital Heights Neighborhood, right across the street from Superior. Is that good place as well?

Not familiar with that one. I'm one street over. The one I'm talking about may be booked.
ETA: If you are asking if the Capital Heights neighborhood is good, yes, especially to the east of S. Foster the closer you get to Jefferson. That's where you'd be.
