I don’t consider women’s sports as actual sports

It’s easily the worst in the big 3 in 50+ years, certainly in most of our lifetimes.

Top to bottom probably not because our non revenue sports are stronger than ever. But we all know a gymnastics run doesn’t cure getting your back blown out in the big 3.

Yeah, it’s a bummer but we legitimately stole the show with Lane and Pear. Great times ahead.

For men's sports it's the worst I've seen in a long time.

Two coaches fired and another one going through the worst season of his tenure.

Pretty, pretty bad.

Relative to expectations I don’t think this is that much hyperbole.

Football laid a total egg
Basketball didn’t bother to show up
Baseball is laying an egg

Like another poster said, help is on the way and I have 100% confidence Jay will course correct.

It’s ok to say Woodward dropped a bomb on this program as a whole.

1993-94.

Curley, a losing season in MBB, and we made the CWS but went 2 and Q.

OK, but women’s basketball, softball, gymnastics have done rather well. Far better showing than football, men’s basketball and baseball.

Yep it was terrible. Good thing is we have the perfect fit in lane for football. And he will wreck shop.

Wade showed he loves lsu and will make basketball entertaining again.

Jay too good to suck like this. If he has another year like this next year he could be out.

Not even close…when I was in school we were the doormat of the SEC in most every sport some years. And that was when the SEC was not even a strong conference.

There is a much higher expectation of winning nowadays.

Even in the 80s LSU basketball and baseball were damn good. What period in the last fifty years have we been this bad in the big 3?!?

No sir. 1993-94 was worse.

Football: 5-6 (3-5 SEC) with losses by 24 to A&M, 18 to Arkansas, 18 to Kentucky, 22 to Tennessee, 25 to Auburn and an all-time record 55 point shellacquing by the Florida Gators.

Basketball: 12-15 overall (5-12 SEC); led by 31 in the second half vs Kentucky only to lose in the Mardi Gras Miracle.

Women's Basketball: 10-21 overall, 0-11 in SEC play. Cornelia Gayden put up some impressive numbers however.

Baseball was good that year, but flamed out early in Omaha, going 2 and BBQ.

I can’t think of a worse one. They better get their shite together in the big three if they want money to keep being donated from boosters and fans. No one wants to support losing programs.

So one season in the last fifty was worse?!? Are we sure we’re not missing the point?

That’s what makes the great times that much sweeter. Going through a few rough years makes you appreciate the come ip
