I did a quick search to see how much profit theWNBA made last year
quote:

The WNBA did not turn a profit in 2025; however, it generated record revenue, estimated at roughly $200 million to over $300 million. While revenue doubled, the league was still projected to lose money—potentially up to $40-$50 million—due to high operating costs. Despite this, revenue growth triggered the first-ever revenue sharing with players.
. That’s a good business model they have

I would love to have a business partner that I was only part of the good, but not the bad.

ITT a bunch of people that don't understand business.

quote:

The WNBA signed an 11-year, $2.2 billion media rights deal beginning in 2026, averaging roughly $200 million per year. This marks a massive increase from the previous deal, which was valued at approximately $57 million annually, representing a roughly 250% increase in annual broadcast revenue.
