Looking for change of pace workout plan

I’ve been running PPSA programs for the last 3-4 years. Rotating between 5 that I’ve bought and the monthly challenge ones. I’m getting burnt out on that type of programming though. Looking for something fresh…not necessarily CrossFit but something in the same realm. Anyone do anything similar or know of where to find different plans?

Tactical barbell has a portion of their program called base building. It’s basically really high rep work with a lot of zone 2 and bodyweight stuff for a 6 week block. I’ve done it a few times in the past to change things up.

Brother, I literally googled "tactical barbell base building" and it led me directly there. It took more time for you to post your reply than to find it myself.

Yeah should be pretty easy to find. I usually run GreySkull but I’ll mix that in once in a while. Does a lot for your joints to get a break from heavy lifting. The running is meant to be easy by heart rate. Walking at first is fine.

When I googled I got a bunch of stuff that popped up. Is it the book you can purchase on Amazon? Saw that on a website james stuber
Also saw some PDFs and stuff. I’m fine with purchasing just want to make sure I’m purchasing the right thing

There are a few books they’re the ones by K Black. I can’t remember which one the base building program is in though. They’re available as Ebooks on Amazon

Greyskull LCI may interest you as well, it has a circuit and an interval component after the main lift for the day.

One set of squats. Work up to to 20 reps. When you can get 20, add 5 lbs and start over. Not a long term workout plan because it's incredibly taxing, but it's a good change of pace.

I was going to suggest this.
Lift
Circuit
Interval
Its simple and brutal.

One of my favorite programs I’ve done. Lots of options for the circuit and the interval keeps it interesting. I’ve usually ran it with the regular 5,5,5+ for the top set or with 531 percentages

Was in the same boat as you but then I was recommended the X-frame hypertrophy program from Josh Jewett It is a 16-week program geared for bodybuilders and I am into week 2 now within the program and the pump is fantastic.
J3 University - X-frame program

I found where you have to buy a bunch of books to get this program. Is there an E book or website you can purchase and download this program from? Trying to do as much research as I can
