Statin question

Hi guys
45 male and in the gym 6x a week. With my family history and calcium score my doctor wanted me on a statin 2 years ago but i took Lipitor and felt so bad after 3 weeks I had to stop.
I revisited it again with him last week and he prescribed the shot Repatha. I did it Saturday and feel like I have the flu and cant really lift my muscles hurt so bad. Its like every old injury Ive had is turned up by 10. Knee, neck, shoulder, etc.
Anyone no have side effects with a certain statin? I hate taking two extra pills because they want me to take Cq10 with it, but i have a resting heart rate of 42 and cq10 lowers blood pressure so I was so lightheaded when I took it.
I just want a low dose statin that wont make me feel like my body is broken.

Repatha generally has much lower side effects compared to Statins. I started Repatha 3 months ago and zero side effects. Perhaps it was coincidence that you felt that way after the shot. You should take the second shot when it’s due and find out if you feel the same before giving up on Repatha

My bad I forgot. I post in Reddit so got them mixed up
I also didn’t have repatha when I posted it
To the poster above? Do you take it every 2 weeks? Where do you inject?

I had essentially no side effects with either generic Zocor or Lipitor.

I had bad side effects with Lipitor. Am on Crestor currently with no issues.

No. I'm anti prescriptions and have asked my PCP for a low dose statin
