Nicaragua Bans 18 Christian Groups

15 Protestant and 3 Roman Catholic groups banned.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide said in a report published last month that they were able to identify 15 Protestant groups and 3 Roman Catholic groups stripped of legal status in 2025.
“Affected institutions were schools, religious radio and television outlets, and faith-based charities, including Lutheran World Relief and Food for the Hungry,” the group said.
The Independent Fundamentalist Baptists were also stripped of their legal status.
After revoking legal status, the government has in some cases taken their property.

Did Nicaragua just murder 30K+ civilians for protesting against their authoritarian theological terrorist government? Was Nicaragua about to get a nuke while vowing “Death to America?” Has Nicaragua been carrying out horrific terrorist attacks on Americans and our closest international allies for the last 47 years, including one of the worst attacks in history as recently as October 7, 2023?

Nicaragua has been a mess for the last 15 years or so. Ortega is essentially a dictator, jailing and disappearing his opponents and anyone who speaks against him. Kidnappings are common, as well. The problems in Nicaragua and Honduras added greatly to the amount of illegal immigrants entering the US in the last 10 years.
