Hawks/Knicks has potential

Wolves always play the Nuggets tough

Whoever draws Charlotte in the East is not going to have a fun time

Can’t wait

Have to respect Denver taking the harder road by winning tonight. Wolves always give them fits. If they win then they likely get Spurs.

And SAS was big loser by losing tonight. Rested Wemby when a win meant only facing either OKC/Den not both.

Not sure Denver took the higher road by winning whatever that means. They avoided OKC until the last round

They would have had the Rockets instead of the Wolves. Instead, the Fakers drew the only team that they could beat.

But they could have avoided TWolves by losing. That team gives them fits. So all 3 of their series will be tough ones. If they make finals they will have earned it.

I still think SAS is one year away. Playoffs are different and will test you. Teams actually spend a ton of time on prep vs reg season very little prep due to schedules.

SAS messed up and have a harder 2nd round team now and I think Denver beats them. Assuming bith win round 1. If so they will have lost out on more playoff experience.

Spurs are dumb, thought they could win against Denver’s C team without Wemby.

They panicked at the end and still couldn’t win with all their starters in.

Hopefully Denver can get past Minnesota, would love to watch a Spurs/Nuggets series.

OKC now has a pretty easy road. Only need to beat one real team to make the Finals. (Den/ SA/ Min)

I think sometimes people overrate the paths and matchups. I used to worry about avoiding the Lakers when they were dominating, but as it turned out, it didn’t matter if SA met them in round 2 or round 3…they still lost. I think the players realize they are going to have to go through a dominant force one way or the other once you get out of round 1.

Over in the East teams need to watch out for Charlotte. #1 Off #5 Defense since January, along with the best 5 man lineup in the league.

This team is not your typical 9 seed. Do you think CHA can upset DET or BOS?

I also think of you want to win a title you have to earn it. But who and when you play can matter. 2 years ago OKC was in a similar spot as SA is now. And they didn’t have the playoff experience and lost to Mavs.

I think in a few weeks they will regret not playing Wemby. The goal is get to finals. Your team (in SA case) will have a week off before their first round starts. Plenty of time to rest. Had they played Wemby even 20 minutes they make their path easier. That such a stupid decision.

OKC would have enjoyed that matchup. But now OKC only has to face either Den/SAS not both. These 7 game series can really take a lot of teams and the Den/SAS series will be a battle which I think Den wins.

Separate from playing, IHart has been a huge giver back to the community. He has a foundation and every week is doing something for the community. Now he made a short documentary about the OKC bombing. He is a class act.

Yep, looking forward to it. Still can’t explain why the Spurs sold that game on purpose.

Unless they think Minnesota will beat the Nuggets anyway and they have a better shot against them. But that’s a lot of assumptions.

They could have also forced OKC to play Denver in round 2. There’s no good explanation for losing that game intentionally.

Correct. Prior to the year, I just wanted SA to get back into the playoffs. Winning 60 games wasn’t on my radar.

Charlotte? Are we talking about the LJ/Zo Charlotte? Maybe Gerald Wallace Charlotte. But I know we are not talking about the Lonzo Ball Charlotte.

The numbers are the numbers, at least since Jan. Having said that a series is much different than reg season stand alone games.

Back in the day Lakers Nation vs. CC used to mean something in here

Both teams have are rough around the edges right now but Rockets will probably take it in 6
