Has LSU had any sport this year that didn’t fall far below early season expectations?

I blame NIL. You really don't know what you're getting when you give a kid a bunch of money. It's a crapshoot!

Probably some women’s sport that gets money wasted on it to the detriment of sports for men.

Women's Basketball had a good run unless you believe we should win the championship every year.

ETA. Did anyone really expect men's basketball to be good?

All 3 major men’s sports have or likely to have losing records in the SEC. Disaster is the word finalizing Woody’s legacy. Hope is there for the new hires.

You sound bitter. Jay wiffed on his picks this year. Dont blame womens sports on that. Women seem to do better with less.

Maybe next year our BB team will be good, with the $12+ million for players. js

Tennis and Men's Track.

Every other sport is in the gutter relative to expectations.

This is LSU. You can say that for every season / sport that doesn’t end in a natty.

That's Hyperbole. Gymnastics is competing for a national championship. WBB did fairly well. While it doesn't look great in baseball right now, there is a lot of the season left. MBB was only slightly worse than some expected, and no worse than many expected.

If you count off-the-field moves then Football and Basketball are nailing it.

Men's basketball lived upto expectations.

We expected them to suck and they did!

Softball, if only because we had no expectations.

Men’s golf has performed well and been ranked in top 10 all season.

That said, we choked miserably in regionals last year and didn’t make nationals. Best not repeat this year.

Counting in gymnastics and golf to salvage some semblance of athletic prowess is a problem in and of itself.

Jackoffjester is probably bitter that his son didn't merit a scholarship at the expense of a women athlete that did
