went to Jason Aldean/Lynyrd Skynyrd last night at the Honda rodeo in the Superdome

Surprisingly Jason Aldean was a bit of a disappointment to me and I’m a Jason Aldean fan. Lynyrd Skynyrd definitely in my opinion may not be the original members but the younger brother Johnny Van Zandt did a awesome job.

Skynyrd still puts on a great show as long as you can take it for what it is and don't get bogged down on it not being the original band
I always have thought Jason Aldean was pretty overrated and not the first time I've heard that about him

Jason is terrible live. I like his music, his old stuff was really good but he migrated over to pandering

I can’t get past it. I’d just rather not see them. Same goes for Journey. I’m not going to see them without Steve Perry.
