It was parked next to my truck so I took a pic to imagine I owned it.

My truck doesn’t have swirl marks though.

Red shows those swirl scratches more than any other color.
No touch or hand wash is the answer.

OP is referring to the light scratches in the paint and calling them swirl marks from buffing when they are not.

BTW, did anyone even notice that the bumper color doesn't match the hood?

My solution has always been to drive old cars and never wash them or have them washed. I am 51, and I think I have washed/had washed/driven through a car wash maybe 5 times in the past 30 years.

It helps that my butler’s butler keeps the cars parked in a hermetically sealed climate controlled garage.

I'd put black up there with any other color. I will never own a black car again.

Some manufacturers apply better paint and clearcoat than others...

That's beyond poor washing/buffing.

And that bumper cover has been replaced and repainted.

We had a kid start working at the plant back in the 80’s, got his check and went to the dealer, bought a new Nissan pick up and was so proud of it, bright red, took it home and hand washed it thoroughly am proudly drove it to work the next morning

With a warm bucket of soapy water and an sos pad….

Google it if you don’t know what it is
