main card
Jiri Prochazka -110 vs. Carlos Ulberg -110, vacant light heavyweight title
Azamat Murzakanov -205 vs. Paulo Costa +170, light heavyweights
Curtis Blaydes -122 vs. Josh Hokit +102, heavyweights
Dominick Reyes -148 vs. Johnny Walker +124, light heavyweights
Nate Landwehr -115 vs. Cub Swanson -105, featherweights

prelims
Aaron Pico -305 vs. Patricio Pitbull +245, featherweights
Randy Brown -110 vs. Kevin Holland -110, welterweights
Mateusz Gamrot -192 vs. Esteban Ribovics +160, lightweights
Tatiana Suarez -155 vs. Loopy Godinez +130, women's strawweights
Chris Padilla -155 vs. Marquel Mederos +130, lightweights
Kelvin Gastelum -278 vs. Vicente Luque +225, middleweights
Charles Radtke -175 vs. Francisco Prado +145, welterweights

decent card overall although the main is a little weak imo. UFC needs hokit to win and continue making noise at heavyweight. blaydes is def a tough matchup... he will prob look like a giant next to hokit.

also trump is confirmed to attend will be interesting to see his reception.

Van/tiara moved to 328. That’s going to be a huge card.

Is Pereira the only guy that Jiri has lost to in a long time? Seems like his only weakness is nuclear bombs like Pereira can throw.

Ulberg has some serious power, one hit KO power, but is it on the same level as Pereira where he'll be able to take Jiri out?

The main event is worth the price of admission here to me. Something crazy seems bound to happen. Think maybe the only Jiri fight I've seen that wasn't exciting was against Rakic. Don't even remember much about that fight.

Rooting for Jiri. He's on his samurai warrior hero's journey, the return to the belt.

Yeah Jiri is the most exciting fighter in the UFC right now imo.

Rakic was piecing him up in the 1st round and early 2nd. Jiri hurt Rakic in the mid 2nd which led to him running for his life. Jiri finished him with ground and pound. The reason people don’t remember about it is that the fight was on the prelims while Cody Brundage vs Bo Nickal was on the main.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think Azamat can beat Ulberg or Jiri. He doesn’t look like much physically but visuals can be deceiving. He’s got great hands and very light with his footwork. He dropped Rakic with a step in jab.

Pereira is a bad matchup for Jiri. Jiri is a hyper aggressive striker thats always coming forward. Pereira is a precision striker with immaculate power. Both fights he just bided his time and made him pay for his aggression with precision counters.

Jiri did land some big shots in the 1st match and had him pinned against th fence but Pereira ate them pretty well and landed that left. The 2nd match Jiri was way more patient but still got clipped.

His fight against Glover isnt nearly talked about enough. I think its legit one of the best fights in UFC history and it turned me into a Texiera fan. That old man had some heart in that fight and nearly pulled it out.

I like how the UFC just served these two up to each other. Clearly the promotion feels like they've gotten all they can out of them and are going for one final squeeze (at least for one of them).

Hasn't Jiri never lost to anyone not named Poatan?

Yeah sick card from top to bottom. No way this won’t be an exciting card. Maybe a bad taste if chimaev jumps Strickland all fight

Dudes a badass for sure. His fight with glover was one of my favorites of all time. Those dudes went after it. Old lion vs young.

His fight against Reyes is awesome too. Reyes sleeps him temporarily and Jiri regains. And then KOs Reyes with one of the most brutal spinning elbows I’ve seen.

Reyes has to be one of the unluckiest fighters in UFC. He’s a complete badass and should’ve got the W vs Jon Jones. Then has a string of injuries but he’s brought it against pretty much everyone with only one bad loss imo.

I'm hoping Hokit wins just so we can get another WWE style promo in the post-fight interview.

Persona and talk a ton of trash, if you can keep winning you'll make more money than other guys. If he was a quiet guy, he would be just another fighter on the card. There are guys like that on tonight's card, we don't even know their names or anything about them. Whereas UFC put out a video showcasing Hokit, I think there's only 3 fights on it.

Jean Silva was a bit similar. He was telling Topuria's opponents that he could help them beat Topuria, as if he could easily do it himself. Then got spinning elbow KO'd by Diego Lopes. Aura gone, the jig is up.

I don't like that Hokit must be memorizing these rhymes he does, though. Would be better if he could just be funny on the spot like Conor.
