Imagine not realizing that the majority (if not all) of that money is going to get sucked up into the vast, bloated and corrupt government bureaucracy.
If you want to make sure kids don't miss a meal, give to a real charity.

My wife has a friend like this. We'll have an unusually warm day in January and rather than being happy about it she's worrying about global warming. Some people just cannot be happy when they receive something positive.
