what part of this game tonight leads you to believe that this team is more likely to win rather than lose this weekend.

please do your mental gymnastics to justify this mediocrity. i'm waiting excitedly.

Ole Miss is effectively the same team record wise as LSU this year. They have a better ERA but LSU hits a bit better.

LSU can win 2/3. So can Ole Miss. I doubt either sweeps.

Remember when you said we'd be hearing rocky top all weekend and then we took 2 of 3 and you disappeared?

Nothing you say matters. You don't know how any of this works.

We've hit the ball very well and not a single pitcher of consequence had a bad appearance.

I also take more into consideration than the last game on the schedule, like most sane people.

This was you a week ago:

I'm choosing to believe yesterday was the turning point and it's only up from here.

We may not be a lock for hosting, but there's no way we don't make a regional if we keep this up

Then Early Friday:

yall ready to hear rocky top all weekend?

Later on Friday:

quote:

there's the turning point

Now tonight you’re completely crashing out. You have the emotional stability of a teenage girl.

i summoned the usual excusers of medocrity. got no actual points to make so they just resort to name calling.

See, this is your problem.

LSU generally hit the ball very hard tonight. You look at one inning and use that as *the entire game* and throw a hissy fit. It's why nothing you say matters.

I’ve already told you, LSU did that in 2023 and 2025. You weren’t around then, oddly enough.

OM pitches it really well but haven't found their offense yet. I'm worried about LSU’s defense in low scoring conference games on the road.

well, it's now. and we spent a couple million on a pile of dogshit, and we're out of time. RPI is horrible, we've lost more midweek games than we've won, and as the NIL gap closes with the rest of the nation and less funds being attributed to baseball thanks to wade 2023 and 2025 may not happen again soon.

We are not "excusors of mediocrity".

We are adults who understand this team has some limitations, but appear to be getting things figured out, especially at the plate.

Pitching tonight wasn't great, and Bethune Cookman hit the shite out of the ball. I think that caught our pitching staff off guard.

Throwing this fits and actling like a child when LSU has a great chance to keep the momentum rolling in the games that matter in 3 days, is pathetic.

I trust what is widely considered to be the best head coach and best pitching coach in America. Every year the bullpen struggles and then gets it together late.

And they have played a far tougher schedule. That’s a big reason we’re #67 in RPI and they’re #10. We will be their easiest SEC opponent yet

At Swayze the order of likely outcomes is
OM 2/3
OM sweep
LSU 2/3
LSU sweep

Imagine throwing a hissy fit because 2 titles in 3 just isn’t good enough.
