with 1:32 seconds to go in the 2nd half of the game last night.
Florida had just scored to bring the game to within 4 points and had called a timeout to discuss a gameplan. There was a couple behind me that grabbed their things and walked out.
Now, I realize that it had to be something of serious importance to leave a game with 1:30 left and the opponent knocking on the door. I am hearby offering my protective services to all couples that are scared of "traffic bandits". If you haven't heard of the "traffic bandits" I'll let you in on the little known fact around Baton Rouge. It is known to certain people (usually an older couple) that there are roving gangs that attack people sitting in their cars in traffic after LSU sporting events. These people that are in the know leave all LSU sporting events a few minutes early to beat the traffic even if it means missing a nailbiter of a finish. After all, who wants to be attacked by the traffic bandits?
Why buy the ticket in the first place if you don't care to see the outcome of the game? Don't question their fandom. They're just scared of the traffic bandits.
Anybody want to band together with me to protect these folks so they may feel comfortable watching an LSU game till the end?

I'm with you! And I'll offer my services at Tiger Stadium as well. The problem of traffic bandits is even worse during football season.

You should have had the balls to tell them something last night. Instead, you cowardly complain about them on the internet.

And how do you know they didnt get up and watch it from someplace else? Alot of people get up and finish watching the game from concourse areas or tunnels.

I had season tickets. I used to watch the final FT contest in close games from the concourse. As soon as it was clinched, I bolted. The difference is 30-45 minutes.

as much as I dont understand why people bitch about those who leave early, I certianly dont understand why some of you feel the fuking need to take up for those who leave early. IMO that is much worse.
Seems to me if crowds bother you that bad ,, stay at home. Watch on TV.

They left because you smelled like shite man. Mix in a shower, and don't be afraid to hit that stank with some dial soap.
Its obvious they were not afraid of the "bandits". They were afraid that sitting next to you for one more second would put them into a 12 year coma.
Common courtesy bro shower it up and people sitting behind you wont leave early

I left after the game was over and even hung out for a few minutes. Then I picked up some dinner
I was back in Prairieville before 11.
It doesn't take 15 minutes to get from the PMAC to my part of Prairieville on the other side of Airline Highway.

Eloquent and lovely.

I don't care about people leaving early, but it had to be distracting for Marcus Thornton when multiple people were walking behind the basketball goal during his game winning free throws.
