I bought the King Kooker Stainless Steel Double Jet Cooker last year, and while it heats well, I’ve run into an issue with how low the burner sits. When I use it in my yard, the heat is close enough to the ground that it actually started to scorch the grass and nearly caused a fire. I ended up setting it on cinder blocks, but I’m looking for a better long-term solution.

Here are the options I’m considering:

1. Having someone weld longer legs onto the frame
2. Using it on my concrete patio (though I’m concerned about damaging the stamped concrete)
3. Placing a fire-resistant mat or blanket underneath it
4. Open to other suggestions

A traffic sign of the appropriate size. When you're obtaining one, bring both 9/16 and 1/2 wrenches as hardware may vary.

Any burner in the grass is likely going to burn the grass. A welding blanket may help. Order one on Amazon and try it out.
