Are y'all selling/buying anything before the long weekend?

Market volatility, all.

I've been thinking about it, but I'm thinking that the most likely thing to happen over the weekend is that this damn war ends and the market ramps up going into the weekend. I don't have any options reaching expiry any time soon.

I could go on vacation and ride some roller-coasters.
Or buy 1200 mrln and ride that roller-coaster.
Went with the later.

I added these gems this week along with Centrus Energy.
I'm starting to like small to mid caps with little attention and lots of upside.

I don't know the answer, but based on the letter that Iran released to the American people that I heard reviewed, they're expecting a ground invasion. If they're right... we might wish we'd sold everything but oil stocks come Monday.

I wish our leader would back down and retreat. It seems like a no win situation for the US now, and even worse if we press on. My .02

Meanwhile, I held on and will be on the ship.

Looking to add ACMR next week:

THE SEMICONDUCTOR CLEANING BOTTLENECK
The "Hard-Tech" Thesis for a $2.6B Infrastructure Powerhouse

1. THE MOAT:
Proprietary SAPS and TEBO megasonic cleaning. As chips shrink to 2nm and 3D-GAA structures, standard cleaning destroys the wafer.
ACMR’s tech is the only way to remove microscopic particles without breaking the "fingers" of the chip.
The Stickiness:
Once a foundry (SMIC, SK Hynix, or Intel) integrates ACMR’s cleaning sequence into their multi-billion dollar production line, they cannot swap it out without risking a total collapse in yield.

2. THE CATALYST:
H2 2026 launch of the Oregon, USA facility.
The Rerating:
Currently, the market prices ACMR at a "China Discount." By producing tools in the U.S., they de-risk the geopolitical narrative and open the door to massive Tier-1 U.S. foundry contracts (Intel, Micron, TI) that were previously politically sensitive.

3. THE CASH SHIELD:
"A Fortress Balance Sheet"
$1.13 Billion+ in cash and equivalents.
The Comparison:
With a market cap of ~$2.6B, nearly 43% of the company is just pure cash. This provides an absolute floor for the stock and allows them to self-fund the $200M Oregon expansion without dilution.

Conclusion
1. Value Play: You are buying a company where nearly half the value is cash and the PEG is under 0.5.
2. Growth Play: You are betting on the physical necessity of chip cleaning in the AI era, with a specific H2 2026 catalyst (Oregon) that could double the valuation multiple.

I'll make my quarterly trades on Monday.

EDIT: I'm sorry my quarterly trades offend you.

I know it’s not before the weekend now, but seeing oil rally into the close for the week definitely makes me think things are looking more fraught, not less.

I’d own a few lottery tickets on anything adjacent to oil that hasn’t yet moved due to market assumptions of this being over quick.

I really like the companies getting paid for the AI boom. I added PWR and MYRG in Dec and am up 30% YTD.

ACMR is intriguing as well. Thanks!

Yes. Gemini.
It can be addictive.
Not always accurate though.
