Is a split this week acceptable?

I think so. While we have only lost 4 games all season, Florida and Kentucky will probably be 2 of the top 5 teams we have played. IMO, while a split wouldn't be successful, it would almost certainly get out RPI into the upper 20s and give us another quality win.

yes, i will gladly take a split this week. we have played an amazingly weak schedule to this point, and i will be happy with one nice RPI boosting win.

Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost two of the next four. Vandy, UK, and UF are all very good teams. I think we win three of the four, hopefully all four. Either way we'll be the SEC Regular Season Champs.

A split this week is fine, especially considering that that the KY game is in Rupp. It leaves you 1 win away from a sole SEC crown with Auburn away and Vandy at home left.

You will kill Florida.....they have no inside game and are terrible FT shooters. The UK game depends on which Cat team shows up. UK plays excellent defense, and shoots FT's well.

I think a split is absolutely acceptable. I think we beat Florida tonight and drop a close one at Rupp....hoping for 2-0 though

living in kentucky, i dont know if i should be upset that this is posted or just realize you guys are being realist. doubtful you would see a topic with this title on an uk board. guess it shows the mentality toward each sport at the two schools. even when they arent that good, uk fans always expect them to win. i think LSU basketball fans have the same mentality as uk football fans(me).
