CBS early football predictions for Week 1

We finally have a coach that I trust to run the score up and embarrass the opponent given the chance. And I expect that vs Clemson to make a statement.

I think it will be pretty similar to last year. I’d be shocked if it wasn’t a close game.

I don’t think so at all. For one LSUs offense with Lane Kiffin will definitely surpass 17 points. At LSU as well. Unless Dabo went God mode in the offseason on the defensive side in the portal. I mean even LSUs dogshit offense last year should’ve had 24 points on Clemson at their house but they took away an obvious TD.

We actually do that but we WALK down Victory Hill before the game.
The bus and the running down the hill with their little cannon on the dolly was one of the dumbest things I have seen in years!

What do we think the odds of game day are? There aren’t any other good games. My fear is Clemson is so bad and we have much better games later on they may save it for later in the season

You may be right about GD. Horrible slate of games that day. The only other decent game is Louisville at Ole Miss but they will save the Ole Miss visit for Lane's return.

Despite all the new faces on the roster this is the most confident I've felt going into week 1 in a very long time.
