For the Kentucky series, Dardar hit .600 with 5 RBIs. Of his 6 hits, 5 went for extra bases (4 doubles, 1 HR). When he's producing, this is a different offense that can be dangerous.

I’m glad he didn’t hurt anyone launching a fricking baseball bat like that.

If a guy from Tennessee or Kentucky did that, we would be absolutely roasting them.

But at this point with how lifeless we’ve looked for 6 weeks, I’ll allow any little sign that we’re getting our edge back

While your are right, this team needed a spark. Between Jay and nick trading whatever the hell they were yelling at each other, yeske told to get in the dugout, there was plenty to get the crowd fired up….. the batflip was the final nail. Need that same intensity at Tennessee and Oxford.

If the bat launch can be a rally opossum type deal then I’m good with it

This could be the spark the team needed to make a run. The bat throw was ridiculous and we would be mad if anybody did that to us. It was great come back and I think Jay did his part to unite and help be a spark for the team with the bat toss. So good on him for making it what he did. Seeing the players jump to the dugout fence to cheer their coach was a good sight and something that can spark this team.

No need. I caught a free hot dog mid 3rd inning when we were down by 7 and gave it to my son but he didn't want it. I told him that that is the rally/lucky dog and they are going to come back and win. The rest is history. Brought the rally/lucky dog home and is in my freezer ready for the next game.

Huge weekend for Dardar! So happy for this kid. I hope at this point, he starts to take over more of a leadership role on this team. Something I think this team has been missing. It would be hard for a transfer to come into a National Championship team and immediately take on a leadership role, but I think he is starting to earn it.

With the Kentucky ultimate warrior staring down the mound every time after an ab, frick then I wish he would have launched it towards their dugout.
