In the Ottoman Empire there were White Eunuchs (Balls Cut off to make them more docile)
And Black Eunuchs (They cut off the frank with the beans to ensure a zero percent chance of any sexual activity)

Yes, they castrated differently due to race.

One of the biggest slave traders in East Africa was a black man, called Tippu Tip. His estate is now a museum to him in Zanzibar. He also traded ivory and ran plantations and was the personal representative of the Sultan of the Omani Caliphate. He’s still revered as a great man.
