I actually don't have a problem with this racial swap in and of itself. My only issue is that some may make the Potters out to be racist, which would be dumb as hell but also predictable for our day and time.

Well, you should. Bc the casting decision is ridiculous. Just like a pale ginger Snape would be ridiculous. But no virtue points for casting a ginger Snape.
