Seems like judges that allow felons to go free and literally get away with murder and rape etc. should be exposed. Billboards with the judge's name and victims name and felon. Why isn't this happening? Is it against the law?

Idk if it’s legal or not but it sounds perfect. Expose those mfers.

Not against anything I’m aware of. There’s a wealthy guy in the LC area that has an ac to grind against one of the judges there and has billboards all over the place attacking the judge.

Problem is, people have short memories.
A judge will spring a violent felon and tomorrow the outrage will be directed elsewhere. We are a 'look at me' society now.
Look at BLM. You don't hear sh*t from those idiots anymore.

I would guess that any law that might look to prohibit such a billboard would run afoul of first amendment challenges. However, the laws could probably prohibit that the billboard not include the judge's private number or address.
You’ll probably get an opinion from F. Lee F*ckedInTheHead (aka SlowF*ckingPinhead) any minute now citing an obscure 18th century opinion that has absolutely f*cking nothing to do with the issue at hand. He'll inform us all that the rest of us rubes just can’t understand the subtlety of the opinion.

Politicians mount attacks on other politicians all the time with half truths so I think telling truths would be okay but politicians have resources too for pinpointing their agendas against individuals so hood luck

I assume the fight against this would be something like intimidation or they would stretch that to a call to violence or something. Or at the very least harassment.
Not saying I agree, but this would probably be the defense in the face of the 1st.
That and if some minute detail is off, they could argue libel since it would technically be “in print?”

If I were a mayor of a city. I would have a weekly standing press conference where I discussed crime in the city and I would put DAs and Judges on blast that were soft on crime. I would openly discuss every one of these situations where criminals are set free.
I would launch a campaign and put up billboards, just as you suggest, to expose the judges and DAs letting criminals run rampant.

It's not illegal but billboards cost money and people have short memories.
A smart person running for judge against an opponent who has let violent felons go free would spend their money on well-placed billboards though.

No, they're public figures and we are protected by the First Amendment for criticizing judges.
