WW incoming roster prior to release

For those in the know better than I, can you speak on the roster Will had incoming prior to his release?
I just remember hearing how it was his best one yet.
Maybe that'll help with those questioning bringing him back, even though he's never made it passed around of 16, aside from the excitement he brings.

IIRC, a majority of us thought we could be title contenders that year.
Had quite a few 5 stars committed, the names are slipping me
Found em. He had Julian Phillips & Yohan Traore as the 5 stars I remember we were all pretty high on. No idea if they turned into anything

it looks like Traore ended up being a bust, but I feel like Wade did a good job maximizing output from those elite athlete bigs by getting them to be dogs on the boards and on defense.

Man, reading that makes me miss Kavell Bigby-Williams, Emmitt and Hell I think he would’ve turned a corner with Efton eventually.

There was a high rated point guard too but not sure what his name was and if he actually did anything.

I remember marvell Allen. he and his dad I saw interviewed and they had a lot of respect for wade. they called him the Elon musk of basketball.
the loss of Julian Philips hurt and I saw him in the PMAC with Tennessee. he was ok, one and done based on potential.

Looks like Allen had some pretty serious knee injuries his freshman year that required multiple procedures and sidelines him for 2 years.
Left Dayton after last season and signed with Utah Tech, but he doesn't appear on the roster or in the team picture.
He was an absolute super star his junior year of HS and was going to reclass to come to LSU. Looks like he went to Montverde as a senior instead, but barely played.
Now I'm wondering if he had lingering knee problems that just kinda wrapped things up for him.
