That was extremely disturbing and appeared to be purposeful. That bus accelerated after it hit the curb.
Look how cheap those people are to not at least build a somewhat substantial barrier between the road and the water underneath.
I think that bus was arriving at a bus stop like a Greyhound and those people were waiting for loved ones to arrive.
That shite is terrible.

This reminds me of an incident that occurred in China a few years back when the driver was having an argument with a passenger an purposely drove off a high bridge.

(Bangladesh)/India has got to be one of the world leaders in major accidents man...trains, buses, and lack of deodorant should all be avoidable

I think the same people running those call scam call centers in India are now putting out AI videos to get clicks.
Something about how the slow the buss went over, then disappeared so fast didn’t seem right. The splashes when the throw rings hit the water seemed off. And something is weird about the bubbles and splashes when the people and luggage pop up.

Seems like a ridiculous amount of avoidable tragic accidents happen in that part of the world.

The Souhardo Paribahan bus (carrying ~40-50 people) was waiting on pontoon-3 at Daulatdia Ghat around 5:15pm to board a ferry to Paturia after missing the previous one. A small utility ferry, Hasna Hena, then struck the pontoon hard, causing the bus to lose control, smash through barriers, and plunge ~30 feet into the Padma River. Driver reportedly jumped clear; some passengers swam to safety, others are still trapped. Rescue ops continue.
