Are any of the Samsung watches worth buying?

I'm not sure I need that much access from my phone. I would probably only use only a few features. But then I came across this one and all the sudden I'm looking for reasons to buy. That's a damn good looking watch and I get paid Friday. Someone advise me before I spend $400

I appreciate the opinions here; sets me in the right direction.

They are excellent smart watches if you have a Samsung phone, otherwise, many features will not be available.
After 4 watches, I finally went with the Google Pixel Watch 4 which worked well with my old LG phone.
I have since gotten a new Google Pixel 10 Pro phone and it makes for a excellent watch/phone experience.

I'm on my 3rd, it works for me. I have a Samsung phone. I use it for workouts, not looking at my phone for updates, and other random things. I probably don't get all the use I could out of it. They keep offering trade ins so I have gotten the last 2 for less than 200.

They are excellent watches, I get the new one every year. Mostly for workout tracking, steps, jogging, tennis, swimming etc I like to know how many calories burned. And in situations where I just want to check the notification without having to grab my phone out of my pocket.

I buy them refurbished on Amazon, usually a generation or 2 older. I currently have a watch 6 and watch 6 classic for which I paid $120 each last year. Both still work perfectly.

The only issue with them is bloatware, but its easy enough to ignore/move out of sight.

I had one several versions ago. It was okay. Not my favorite watch. The battery life really bugged me, and even paired with my Samsung phone it wouldn't always communicate properly or get notifications. I ended up ditching it and went with a Garmin Fenix instead, and I've been much happier with it when compared to the Galaxy watch.

That's an 8, apparently I have a 6. I like it, it works for me. I don't really want it to do more than it is doing.
