US Army has increased the maximum enlistment age from 34 to 42

They should up it to whatever age Lindsey Graham is.

Well that's a jump.

I recruited from 2006-2010, the age was 42 then as well.

Recruiting is obviously hurting.

This idea isn't new

Fat fricks have reduced recruiting numbers over the last few decades.

Right, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Iraq was dragged out to make a bunch of companies richer at the expense of service members and the American taxpayer.

Considering running around on the front lines with a heavy backpack is less of a possibility these days, I totally get allowing older folk, in fact depending on the position, it might actually be better.

Obviously for anyone still actually on the ground, you want young, healthy, resilient dudes for that job ideally.
