You would recommend these? My granddad was talking about getting a lithium battery for his trolling motor.

I got one (LiTime) for my duck boat (24v on an 80lb) and it is awesome. I used it almost every weekend of duck season in Venice and maybe charged it once/twice.

LiTime has an app that connects to your battery via bluetooth that tells you the %, health, etc.

Only downside is the charges is generally an "addition" and not included in the sale

Bought a 36/65AH last April and love it! I can spot lock my 23v Kenner two days on one charge. Wouldn’t have posted the sale if I didn’t like the product.

Their customer service is a little slow (communication) but otherwise fantastic. They stand behind their products!

Recommend!!

Look it up. Runtimes w 50AH batteries are 2-3 hrs tops on 80 lb TM less at high speeds. AH very important on trolling motors.

Is this from actual personal experience or something you just read? I’m not sure I’ve seen someone that has a 50-65 that has run out in a single day

Litimes are awesome batteries but they always have a sale going on. I am no expert but everything I read on the topic indicated that 100 AH are best for trolling motor applications.

Both, I was given one and it didnt give me a full day in my small camp boat. I’d recommend everyone do their research for your particular application. good luck.

12v, 24v, 36v?
Did you start with a fully charged battery?

Where’s your source for that? I researched batter AH extensively and on the bass boards they were stating full day run time on a 50AH with plenty to spare. Thats also been my personal experience.

I guess im never in a situation where I have the speed maxxed out for hours on end

I got the 12v 100ah Bluetooth. I paid 230. Used it for 44lb thrust troll motor in 16ft mudboat. The thing just doesn't drain and got torque. Definitely impressed.

I think the torque deal is all in my/your mind but damned if it doesn’t feel like torque is instant with Li.
CP3 tell us about amp hours please.
