Bush:
A) saw the beginning of the housing crisis emerge and rising unemployment
B) gave control of Congress to Democrats for the first time in 14 years
C) failed dramatically with immigration reform
D) had to deal with the Shia insurgency

Thank God Bush did fail. He wanted to legalize every illegal back then. We would be a full blown communist nation by now if he had succeeded.

A) Saw Covid-19
B) Saw authoritarianism embraced due to the Lockdowns caused by Covid
C) Saw the beginning of the financial flux we're still feeling today due to Covid
D) Saw successful Marxist riots destroy several American cities
E) Saw electoral trust destroyed
I'd argue the edge should go to 2020
A) Saw Covid-19
B) Saw authoritarianism embraced due to the Lockdowns caused by Covid
C) Saw the beginning of the financial flux we're still feeling today due to Covid
D) Saw successful Marxist riots destroy several American cities
E) Saw electoral trust destroyed
I'd argue the edge should go to 2020

He had to deal with hardliners on the immigration issue. That resulted in losing the opportunity for meaningful reform.

As bad of a frick up he was in the end Obama and Biden in particular were worse. Bush was at least some sort stabilizing element when 9/11 happened. You also didn’t have to worry on the daily about a bunch of left wing bullshite being pushed by his dumb arse. That’s ALWAYS preferable to those other two frick nuts.
Was W a Reagan or Trump…not by any means but when it comes down to it there’s no comparison in the realm of detriment to Obama and Biden on a day to day basis.
