I was watching and haven’t heard a commentator go after a players pace like that before.
Seemed like everyone was supremely annoyed with de Chassart.

The Aimpoint guys can be insufferably long on the greens.

Also interesting because Fitz and ADdC have fairly high chances of being Ryder Cup teammates at some point here soon.

His issues went well beyond aimpoint. At one point on 6 (I think) both players were in the fairway. Fitzpatrick hit his approach first, walked up to the green and lined up his putt before ADDC even hit his iron shot.
It sounds like Fitzpatrick was playing full holes by himself and then just waiting at the greens or next tee box.

From the broadcast, it sounded like he was the one who reported ADdC to the officials. According to the broadcasters, they were going to issue a warning just to ADdC, but I didn’t hear any follow up after that.
