This one is from the fantasy series/tabletop game/books called Warhammer 40,000. It is a Black Templar chapter Redemptor Dreadnought. It is crewed by a space Marine who is too grievously wounded to survive and continue fighting like regular infantry and is kept alive by the Dreadnought's systems.

Great Job.

Kinda reminds me of the alien robot from the movie War Machine. I liked that movie.

Do you have a Penitent Engine model?

I’m not a fan of these mechanized models.

But damn son, you just made me a fan.

So many details. Outstanding paint work.

Pretty cool. Just black pebbles covering the base would look better IMO.

That's some excellent detail work.
How tall is the miniature?

No I have not built anything by the Adepta Soroitas.
I've got a couple of ultramarine vehicles and space Marines and I have a Knight I did up in LSU colors.

I'm still working on the diorama base. I just had some miscellaneous stuff left over and gave that a shot.

It's about 4 in tall by about 3 and 1/2 in wide at the shoulders.

You did a great job… Black Templars are my favorite. It’s interesting to see your military modeling skills transfer over to Warhammer. It looks awesome. Your weathering is always top notch. Very impressed!

Bump

Darth has zero self control. He wants to be the model God on this forum.

He could have waited one day to post his model, as not to steal your thunder.

Nope, he needs the attention.

Fat boys in mom’s jeans always crave so much.

Amazing detail. Figures definitely are not my thing. But you’ve done a damn good job on this one.

I know Darth usually posts his finished products on the weekend just like I do. There's plenty of thunder to go around. He is one of the reasons why I decided to start posting my models on this forum.

He’s just being a salty bitch. And I think he’s outed himself as one of my serial downvoters. Haters gonna hate.

I’m not angry.

I’m just not scared to call a spade a spade.

You really think I posted my thread all because someone else did? I posted mine for no other reason than I finished it this afternoon. I didn’t even know this thread existed. And to claim what you claim shows you want to ascribe nefarious motivations to me. Why? What have I done that makes you think this?

I hope you realize this makes you look (1) stupid and (2) petty.

Sometimes, people just can’t read the room.

It’s like some bastard proposing at someone else’s wedding.

Luckily, you haven’t built a space bot like Choppa.

Because you would have certainly posted your bot in this thread already.

Read the room and show some couth.

Please keep them coming. I enjoy your work.

Your airbrush skills are top notch.

The netting on that tank you made a while back is ridiculously good.
