He’s been one of the few defensive bright spots. It’s crazy how smooth he is out there at SS. It’s also funny to think that 2 years ago there were people on this board that would legitimately get mad if you suggested that Milam and Braswell should swap positions. I believe some even said that Milam looked like a little leaguer at shortstop.

We miss Dickinson and Hernandez badly.

Eh. Brazz had some tough days that did have people upset, but he was still solid at the position: No way to know if freshman Milam would’ve been any better. And Brazz turned out to be a life saver at third for us last year

SS is a tough position and it's huge to have such a good glove/ arm there. I just wish his offense would get back to where it's been in the past.

Just keep all clocks and calendars away from him and hypnotize him into believing it’s the postseason

I think you might be misremembering. Braswell was absolutely not solid defensively in 2024. He was great last year at 3rd though. And in ‘24 he lead the team in SEC batting average so he didn’t need to come out of the lineup. But to say he was solid defensively just isn’t accurate.

We really have been spoiled defensively for a while Tanks and Brazzy were awesome at third their last seasons, Milazzo and Hernandez were great defensive catchers. Jones was really good at 1st with a ton of range and Dickenson and Milam made double plays with their eyes closed. Jordan Thompson struggles were the last we saw and he still would make unbelievable plays scattered in there with the errors.
