Playing one afternoon of backyard flag football is much different than a season in the NFL.
When you get his age, you can still have athleticism. The problem is the recovery. You don't feel age while you are doing something and adrenaline is flowing. You feel your age the next morning when it hurts to walk and you have to ice your knees for several days.

Yea I think most can sling it for a day in shorts. It’s after 40 sacks and playing in December that gets dicey for an old man

Not surprised Tom Brady would look good playing flag football. Tom Brady has played flag football since 2008.
