Yorke can’t hit for power, can’t hit for average, liability on defense, slow on base and I care less about a 1st baseman’s arm, but that error throwing to 3rd base was not a good look. Who else do we have for 1st?

I don't understand why he gets all the hate. Arambide, Caraway, Dardar, have all been just as bad without the walks and on base percentage Yorke gives you.

Such a worn out phrase.

I'm assuming it's mostly fat guys who are ashamed they aren't as good at anything as fellow fat guy Yorke is at baseball.

As a fanatic I get what you’re saying but I’ll give our 2 time NC coach the benefit of the dought.

Is dought the word you were looking for? Doubtful, I would say.

I am not enamored with Yorke's play, but I am also not too worried about him individually. My biggest concern is the lack of consistent hitting for too many of our players.

He obviously made some misevaluations in the portal. He had the CWS on his mind and by the time it was over all of the good players were gone. After this year you are losing Milam, Curiel & Brown. In 2027 this team will be much worse. Enjoy the few wins in 2026 while you can because next year will require a complete offensive overhaul and the baseball team doesn’t have the NIL funds to make that happen.
