Look at how stupid this person who was put in charge 'to protect and serve' is.

An IQ slightly above that of a Somalian and willing to trample on your rights, then claim to be the victim when they are exposed. I hope Afroman wins this BS trial.

I always tell the story of a guy I went to HS with who failed so many times they finally kicked him out when he turned 22. He got his GED and then became a deputy in a small town, where he was fired for being too violent and for accusations of racism. He's now a sheriff deputy who handles the K9 unit. A complete moron who can make or break someone's entire life.

I have had two run-ins over the past 4 years with deputies. Too many tripping on their little bit of power for my liking.

Afroman's (Joseph Foreman) trial in Adams County, Ohio, against seven sheriff's deputies is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 16, 2026, before Judge Jonathan Hein at the Adams County Court of Common Pleas. The lawsuit stems from his use of security footage from a 2022 police raid on his home in his music videos.

Key details regarding the upcoming trial:

Case Background: Seven deputies sued Afroman for invasion of privacy and other claims after he used footage of them raiding his home for a music video titled "Lemon Pound Cake".

Legal Defense: Afroman’s attorneys argue the video is protected speech under the First Amendment, with the ACLU of Ohio supporting his position.

Trial Specifics: The trial will include testimony from both Afroman and the deputies, with jurors reviewing the bodycam footage and the original search warrant.

Recent Developments: Afroman's countersuit against the deputies was dismissed just prior to the trial.

This is the original video the deputies are suing over.

The Adams County Sheriff kicked down my door
Then I heard the glass break
They found no kidnapping victims
Just some lemon pound cake

Mama's lemon pound cake
It tastes so nice
It made the sheriff wanna put down his gun
And cut him a slice (of what? Of what?)

Lemon pound cake
He wanna put down his Glock
Lemon pound cake
Trending on TikTok
Lemon pound cake
He's a family guy
Lemon pound cake
Got the munchies because he got high
Lemon pound cake, pound cake

He's a Adams County Sheriff
He's hungry and he's big as hell (mmm-hmm)
He was sniffing for weed
Then he smelled another smell (what was that?)

Mama's lemon pound cake
It tastes so nice
It made the sheriff wanna put down his gun
And cut him a slice (of what? Of what?)

How many deputies do you know? There's over 800,000 of them...

I didn't say that

I know a few good cops too, but they are State Police, so they have to have more than a GED

Overall, local small town/county deputies should always be handled with skepticism IMO

A deputy here opened the door of his truck into mine, then got mad at me when I said something. He was off duty, and I think he was drinking. He threatened me, thinking I was going to back down. I think the only reason he backed down instead is that he had been drinking and was scared of city cops coming out. He was with the sheriff's office, and this was in the city limits.

I have had one other incident that has changed my mind about ever giving them the benefit of the doubt again. It's long but I have spoken about it before. One deputy got written up for his behavior over it.

Does he have video of the Sheriff helping himself to a slice of lemon pound cake?

I didn't see that in the video

He wasn't sued over that song. It was the lemon pound cake song and using the police cams and his security cam footage in the videos and not blurring out the cops' faces

No cop should be able to sue you for using bodycam footage or private video footage from your residence.

Also, it is clearly satire.

One of the cops said he has suffered damage because people in public call him "Officer Pound Cake"

No one is suffering from being called "Officer Pound Cake"

Most lowly paid local cops have an us vs them (the public) mentality, regardless of what type of person they are dealing with. And many in that number think they are the punisher.

I had a high school friend that was gifted academically. He joined the county sheriff's office and quickly made detective. Flushed it all away knowingly withholding evidence that would exonerate a defendant in a murder trial.

I mean, I'm all for hammering abusive, a-hole cops, and there are plenty of them out there.

But just making stuff up isn't quite the "punk the cops" angle he's going for here.

The idiots thought he had a dungeon full of people in his house. Not even joking

quote:

Cash: Deputies seized in cash, claiming it was proceeds from drug trafficking. Afroman stated the cash was from a performance.

Missing Money: Upon returning the money, Afroman reported that was missing. An investigation later suggested the missing money was due to a miscount by deputies.

Contraband: Police confiscated a vape pen, pipes, and three roaches (marijuana butts).

No "Dungeon": The search warrant was partially based on a bizarre tip alleging a basement dungeon with kidnapped women. No such evidence was found

No Charges: Afroman was never charged with a crime as a result of the raid.

Making fun of them for stealing money from him and destroying his house over something so stupid is the least he should do.

He tried to sue for damages, and a county judge tossed it
