He’s definitely coming back like it or not. Fans keep throwing out smoke and pipe dreams but I’m not hearing as much from boosters.

I don't know. I think this implies otherwise. There is only one SEC team in the NIT, so I think LSU could probably be in it if they wanted. If the plan is to bring back CMM, then why not try to build momentum for next season by winning a couple of games in the NIT?

LSU finished 16th in the league. They weren’t getting an NIT bid even if they wanted it. Would love to see a change up top and money spent on a roster, just don’t see it happening this year.

At this point, no news is good news. If he were definitely coming back there would be an announcement.

It was Oklahoma. That sucks. They have been hot and are fun to watch. I get it when you have a pathetic season and lots of hurt players, but it seems crazy to turn down a chance to be a #1 seed with Vegas's highest odds to win and not want to compete.

The NIT is basically dead. Auburn probably only accepted the bid because they're trying to pretend Nepo Pearl's season wasn't that bad.
