You were the one who vanished after we blew the lead in the 9th on Friday after reminding everyone how much of a better fan you are than all of us bc you never complain

This team just needs to find a way to avoid that one mistake that seems to compound into a 3 plus runs. That and just getting marginally better all around and they can contend with anyone.

Interesting that in baseball the play clock usually doesn’t make any difference. It’s just a matter of how many outs are left. I know, water is wet.

I still wish someone would explain the thinking of not bringing in a LH pitcher (garcia maybe) to face the LH hitter with two out who hit the walk off hr. The previous batter was also LH and he ripped a single off Guidry. LSU may have lost the game regardless, but I have to believe that any manager in baseball would bring in a LH pitcher in that situation. I firmly believe LSU would have won that game, and the series.

So you’ve never heard of the concept of a closer? Clearly they want Guidry to be that.

And no, “every manager” in baseball doesn’t play matchups in the bottom of the 9th.
