Father in law wants to make Nola BBQ shrimp for a neighborhood party he got invited to, but didn't want want to make a "from scratch" recipe I sent him from this board.

Is there a pre-packaged brand you have used before which is fairly decent? He's not a food snob ...and they live in Waco, TX so most folks at that party prob haven't even heard of this dish.

TIA

Louisiana BBQ Shrimp Seasoning Packet

This one is great. The Bulverde Walmart has it in stock so if you're in Houston they should have it in one by you.

Andy Roo’s and some worstershire sauce. Easy peasy!

Just use fresh heads on shrimp and plenty of black pepper. Butter (Manale’s uses margarine) and plenty black pepper are the main ingredients.

This is good stuff and easy. There are even videos on the BBQ Shrimp Guy’s website to make it fool proof, not that you’ll need it.
Guy is usually at the Mandeville trail head on Saturdays but I know he sells it at different places around the northshore. If you email him, he’s usually quick to respond and can tell you where else to find it.
