Some of this has to be on the pitch call. Gave up a hits on 1-2 and 0-1 counts on fast balls. Just throw anything else!

Gotta get the first out on the first hitter. Once they get on base he’s a completely different pitcher. Ahead in the count, you don’t give that guy a chance to hit something hard. Relying on a breaker is dangerous. Especially with the tying run on third. You can’t bury it and risk a wild throw or passed ball. Our catcher already had one that inning.

He ain’t the dawg he thinks he is. Go back to the end of the season his freshman year, he gave up a homer in almost every appearance at the end. Luckily they just didn’t cost us games.

I don't think we have many relievers that will go just 1 inning at a time with maybe no starters that can go more than 5-6.
Our relievers will mostly need to give 2-3 innings a piece.

Why is the rent so head over heels for this dude. I simply can’t understand it. His stats are complete shite. Yes he got hurt making a comeback and cheer a kid on. But the rants affection for this guy is on the same level as their love for back up qbs. Dude has one pitch and can’t go past 20 pitches. PROVE ME WRONG and stop worshipping the guy.
