That was some serious next level work from Guidry. He’s been around 91 his whole career. 95-96 back to back for strikes could be unlocking a very special weapon. Their hitters didn’t expect that velocity at all.

I thought he was maxing out around 93. I don't think I saw him above that vs ULL, but maybe I'm wrong?

He'll be one of the best stoppers in the SEC if he can combine his curve and slider with 95-96. We know he can spot up, too.
