Help pricing a gun

I have a Savage Axis 30-06 I’m possibly looking to sell. The gun has never been fired and has a Nikon BDC 3x9x40 scope on it. The scope was purchased new, mounted and bore sighted at Bowies. The Weaver scope that came on it would go with it as well. What would be a fair price and best place to sell it?

Yeah, don't take that to the bank. I've sold a lot of guns used and new way more than that BS site said.

Just a rough estimate from the 2 sites $400 seems like a good price. Probably list at $425.

That website is pretty spot on. It tracks actual sales of firearms (new and used) that are listed on the internet and sell. If you want a starting point to sell a firearm, it’s a reputable site. TGV has no way of tracking private selling prices between 2 individuals . OP should list his rifle for 10% less than MSRP and negotiate if needed.

I bought a savage axis .270 at Walmart in Amite on clearance for 197.00 in 2021.
I don’t remember why they had their stock on clearance but that was the last center fire rifle in the case. Paired with one of the better vortex scopes and it’s been my go to ever since.

They stopped selling guns and put everything on sale. I bought 3 Rem 700 for $200 each.
7mm mag that I haven’t done anything with. .243 and .308 that I sent off to blueprint and time the bolt and rebarreled.
They’re both crazy accurate now. One is mine and the other is my son’s.
