Also, the first team eliminated from the SEC tournament.

PATHETIC!

Including the SEC tournament, McMahon moves to 18-59 against SEC teams.

He’s pretty good at being bad.

Come on, man. Don't you remember the shroud of negativity that surrounded the program when he took over? College basketball teams can’t be rebuilt year in and year out. I have a feeling next year is his year!!!

It's amazing how fast LSU has pulled the trigger in other coaching decisions yet continues to drag it's feet on this loser. Hopefully he's gone tomorrow.

Why would you tell him to shut up? Are you nine? Did he misstate the facts? I’m pretty certain everything he said is fact. Are you happy about the current state and trajectory of the program? Or should we just give him another year?

ETA: My goodness, there aren’t many but the McMen are such an odd bunch. To defend him at this point is just masochistic.

And it's not even a close last place. Ole Miss beat Auburn last week of the regular season, and beat Texas convincingly tonight, and South Carolina after winning on Saturday is hammering Oklahoma tonight in Nashville. So LSU is prominently clad in their loser suits as we speak.

Don’t know why some of yall are so beat up over basketball sucking.

We are a football and baseball school.
Any other program being good is icing on the cake.

Is the NIT still on the table as a possible "redemption" for the Fighting McMen? I guess that depends on the status of about four SEC bubble teams-- Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and Auburn. If only three of them make it to The Dance, that leaves a spot open for the Tigers in the NIT.

18-59 against SEC teams

That's %age-wise still better than Tom Crean's record-setting 15-57 (.208) with the Georgia Bulldogs from 2018-22.

No NIT for any team that finished last in their conference. If LSU gets invited they should decline.
