The humor is real, no cheap jokes. It gives a good insight to how people portray a false front to fit into cultural norms even when we realize how absurd some of this shite is.
But most importantly, the chick ur banging has probably had these thoughts every day. So its a big win if u wanna show your girl how you understand her feelings but you also wanna laugh your arse off at how miniscule things they can turn into a big deal

I remember really liking the show and Andrew Scott killing it (as usual) but other than that I can’t remember hardly anything other than Scott and the lead actress.

The sister is hilarious. I always think about the “It looks French” when someone gets a shitty haircut.

It's a very funny show. I do think it's slightly overrated because every time I see a best TV show list or something like that, Fleabag is always near the top. It's good, but I don't think it's all time good.
I could definitely do a rewatch though because I've forgotten most of it. Perfect cast too.

I remember being very annoyed by Fleabag in the first couple of episodes but they did such a good job of making the audience grow to like her

I think it's one of the funniest things I've seen on TV/Movie in a long long time. the only thing is the British speech is so fast I had to rewind a lot to pick it all up

You seem pretty objective on here when it comes to movie/TV shows. I don't consider you one of the regular suspects in that regard.

i usually hold my criticisms for when people defend objectively bad "woke" stuff (Acolyte, Starfleet, etc.)
But I can appreciate eye rolling but good "woke" stuff (One Battle, Barbie, Everything Everywhere, etc.
i can handle PWB flicking her bean to Obama because the rest of it is hilarious.

Saw it when it came out and thought it was fantastic. Funny and dramatic to the right degree in the right way. That kind of humor/writing is very entertaining. Lot of critics have it way up there in their list of greatest series. Only two seasons would limit that a bit, I'd think.
