I would love to know the full breakdown of the WBB financials. With how many tickets and presumed concessions are sold, it’s mind boggling they can consistently lose 8 million

Bad take and I will explain why. If LSU baseball wasn't the program that it is then it would be a money pit as well. It is a complete outlier that people here would melt about any cuts to. Women's baskeball, like it or not, is poised to gain market share. We can have a program that matter and will eventually make money on tv contracts or one that exists because of Title IX

While UCONN and SC do operate at losses, neither program has lost more than six million dollars in the timespan since Mulkey took over. That's at minimum two mil more, per year, that we lose compared to them.

If women’s basketball had the same type TV contract as the men, they would make money. No way MCB is making money because of attendance and concessions. LSU’s men’s team is making money because of the SEC TV contract—NOT because of the program.
