Probably the biggest non-major of the year. Top players are now playing their first matches. I'm mostly starting this as it seems like a few baws from here go every year. Please check in if so. We have almost nothing to discuss until Roland Garros.

I would consider going in future, love that area. Seems like a great event to attend and excuse to go out there.

Really nice facility. It's a cut above Cincy and Toronto, although I have not seen Cincy since their improvements.

I’m pretty sure the defending champ, Andreeva, just told the entire crowd in attendance to f’off after her loss to Siniakova. Not a good look from the 18 year old.

This is on the heels of an early exit to Mboko in Qatar, two tournaments back.

should be a thread on LSUs men and women’s teams to take us deep into the clay court season.

Got to see Sinner against a qualifier, poor guy had no chance. Saw Eala on the women's side she's got a nice fan base behind her, interested to see if she can stay alive tomorrow. Record heat moving in for the weekend.

Nice. I went about 12 years ago and decided it would just be night matches for me if I ever go again.

I followed tennis pretty closely at the height of the Nadal-Federer rivalry and when Djokovic stepped up to that level. I don’t watch much now but still pay attention to who ends up winning tournaments.

Anyway, several years ago (~2015) I had a flight cancelled going through Miami and had to stay overnight. I took advantage of the time to go to the Miami Open the next day. I saw Djokovic play and Nadal practice. Federer was supposed to play but pulled out sick. It was a cool experience.

From what I remember seeing in previous tournaments Indian Wells looks like it is both an awesome venue and a great area to spend a few days

The Sinner Fonseca match was a great watch on TV last night. Fonseca showed he is willing to hit with the big boys, but just a few loose points and he lost the tiebreakers, 7-6, 7-6.

Will be interesting to see if Learner can do anything against Sinner.

The defending champ Jack Draper takes down the Goat in probably the match of the tournament. Almost looked liked he was going to choke it away but bounced back.

Sounds like it was an epic match. One downside to this tournament is the night matches are too late for eastern time viewers.

This is the exact reason that the west coast won the rap war.

The lone American left Taylor Townsend wins the doubles title with Siniakova. Got to see Taylor last year, she's a fantastic doubles player. Now here come the big boys, might get Alcarez/Sinner tomorrow.

Thanks, I was just going to bump this in a bit. Sinner/Zverev in about a half hour, Alcaraz/Medvedev after that.
