- The post highlights a reported directive from China's government to its largest state-owned oil refiners, including Sinopec and PetroChina, to immediately halt diesel and gasoline exports, citing Bloomberg as the source amid escalating Middle East tensions disrupting global crude supplies.
- This action aims to secure domestic fuel availability in China, the world's top oil importer, as regional peers like Thailand announce similar export suspensions, potentially tightening Asian fuel markets and echoing a 2022 precedent during domestic shortages.
- Market implications include heightened global diesel scarcity, which could lift Brent crude prices above $90/barrel short-term and favor U.S. Gulf Coast exporters, based on historical patterns where such curbs added 5-10% to regional benchmarks.

WOW! China is now PANICKING over President Trump's overwhelming strikes against Iran and Venezuela victory
PETER SCHWEIZER: "China has lost TWO of its most important allies in the developing world!"
“China provided their most advanced air defense capabilities to Iran...we completely DESTROYED them."
"Half of their oil is suddenly NOT AVAILABLE to them [if America cuts off the Strait of Hormuz]!"

This has been my exact thought starting with Greenland, then Venezuela, now Iran. Are there dual benefits and purposes to go along with it all? Sure, but China and Russia to an extent are his ultimate goals.

Now sit back.. grab a cold beverage.. fire up a cigar.. close your eyes and just imagine if the United States only relied on China for our fuel (like many other things we are having to rely on them for)

The "how does striking Iran help us?" crowd is most devastated by this news.

Yup. And the goal is to push Russia away from Chyna

Between Venezuela and Iran combined, China is only losing about 10 to 12% of the oil it imports.
So, China has to buy more oil on the open market, driving up the price for all of us. Yay.
I mean, Im glad China cannot buy sanctioned oil below market price, but I dont see how this is a major blow to them.
