Maybe it was already discussed but seems like too many games with no rest in between

Jay wants to simulate tournament style games for post season play.

It’s not sustainable. All this does is wear the team down early. If they make it to Omaha I doubt playing 5 games a week months ago will be beneficial by that point.

No way these kids are tired. It’s just baseball, and these last four games were all at home - no travel.

IMO Jay does this because he has so much depth he wants to see them in action as much as possible. Because your lineup pretty much needs to be set by SEC play.

Please do. And It’s almost as if the guys that came off the bench played like they were fresh and performed a lot better than the starters who have been playing 5 games a week for the last two weeks on top of practice time…

I’ll take the outlook of a coach who’s won two out of three and assembled a team to make it 3 out of 4 vs some dude that was second string on his u12 baseball travel team cause his mom had nice tits.

Jay doesn’t want 2 midweek game weeks during SEC play, so he plays 5 game weeks early in the season

Of course it’s not sustainable, which is why Jay does not try to sustain it. They play a lot of games early to get a lot of guys innings. Then they figure out their team and everyone’s roles right about the time they stop playing four games per week.

I love how all these keyboard coaches act like they know more than JJ.

I would think a coach winning 2/3 titles would stop alot of the early/mid season bitching on here. Nope.

I'll pass it along... now, go fix the ice cream machine. This warm weather got me craving. McFlurry.

Posters on here are saying he’s doing it to “simulate tournament play for Omaha” not audition guys for their roles early on. So my point was in reference to that. This team looks tired. 11 games in 15 days. Why do you think the bench players preformed so well last night? Could it be that they were “fresh” Hmm. Or that they are better than the starters? I’ll let you decide.

Hot take. So what would this”message” board be without “messages” why the frick do you read things on here if you don’t care for other people opinions? Sounds ironic, I’m sorry, more like “moronic” to me. Also, I’ll fix it for you. I think you meant “You don’t give a frick” don’t speak for everyone, clown.
