Probably just giving Curiel a little rest and also allowing Braun to get some playing time in the field while Stanfield is still out.

Yea, I seem to remember that as well. At least I feel like I said the same the last year about him batting cleanup a time or 2.

Yeah I was one of them lol. I remember righting an email to the athletic department saying to fire Jay. Pretty stupidly and irrational looking back on it now

I don't worry about the injuries/absences anymore. Not because they don't matter but because Jay won't give much info or will just grease the pig anyway. No problem with that either. I think Curiel is fine. Braun needs/deserves some reps in the OF. I think I would've played Braun in LF, but what do I know. We have 3 more games after today and will likely see subs tonight anyway.
